We encourage all our customers to get into the habit of creating their own products and managing their screens. We have created an incredibly easy-to-use Backoffice area called “Till Programming”. Within this area, you can create till screens, products, departments and much more.
Let us begin by creating departments and sub-departments. Head to “Departments”, here you will see a list of departments that currently exist for your site or multi-sites. When you first gave us an import database any departments that you created will appear here.
Here you can see a fantastic example of departments, they are broad enough to contain many “Sub-Departments” whilst still being useful enough for reporting.
To create a department, click “New”, you will need a name such as “Food” and an account code.
The account code will be used when integrating into financial software, reporting and integrating into a PMS.
